Park Guide for Lagoon ("the App") is an unofficial park navigation and wait time companion application created by Wonderpathos LLC. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting the information of our users.

1. Information We Collect
We only collect data necessary to provide and improve park navigation, real-time wait times, and POI information:
Location Data (GPS): With your permission, the App accesses your device's precise location while using the app (and in the background when active inside the park). This location data is processed locally on your device to show your position on the park map, determine if you are inside the park, and enable automatic wait time submission when in ride queue areas. Your raw continuous location track is never saved or stored on our servers.
Wait Time Submissions: When a ride wait time is submitted (manually or automatically via geofencing transitions), the wait time duration and ride identifier are sent anonymously to Cloud Firestore to update crowdsourced wait times for all park visitors.
Anonymous Account & Technical Identifiers: The App uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication. An automatically generated, anonymous identifier (UID) is created to authorize database operations without collecting your name, email address, phone number, or personal credentials.
Photos & Camera: If you choose to submit photos for point-of-interest (POI) updates, the App requests access to your camera or photo library. Photos are uploaded to Firebase Storage solely for park map moderation and display.
2. How We Use Your Information
Information collected is used strictly to:
Display your current location on the interactive park map.
Calculate and present crowdsourced attraction wait times.
Moderate and display user-contributed park photos and POI details.
Maintain app security, prevent fraud, and ensure server stability.
3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We utilize trusted infrastructure providers to operate the App:
Google Firebase (Google LLC): Used for anonymous authentication, Cloud Firestore database, Cloud Functions, and Firebase Storage.
Map Tile Providers (CARTO & OpenStreetMap): Map tiles are retrieved dynamically. No personal user data is sent beyond standard web HTTP request metadata.
Google AdMob: The App displays advertising through Google AdMob to support free access to park navigation and wait time data. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as your advertising ID), IP address, and general usage data to serve and measure ads. On iOS, the App requests permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before using your device's advertising identifier for tracking.
4. Data Retention & Account Deletion
Because the App operates strictly using guest/anonymous authentication, we do not collect or maintain user profiles, names, email addresses, or passwords.
If you wish to reset your anonymous app session and local data, you can clear the App's data/cache in your device settings or use the "Reset App Data" option in the App Settings. To request removal of any user-contributed content (such as a submitted photo), please contact us at privacy@wonderpathos.com or contact@wonderpathos.com.
5. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly request or collect personal information from children under the age of 13. All data collection is anonymous and limited to park navigation and wait time functionality.
